Ruh by Madina is super excited to announce our first Ladies Weekend Retreat!!

This retreat will provide a space for participants to relax in the middle of nature, release oneself from everyday preoccupations, and learn to connect to our Creator through Love. You will also experience the sweetness of good companionship and sisterhood from ladies from around the GLOBE!

Guests are responsible for securing their own transport to & from the retreat center, located in Acworth, GA (See map below). If you'd like to carpool with others from Madina Institute, it's up to you to organize it - We encourage you to contact friends from your local area!

Arrival/Start Time: 6pm on Friday Oct 28
Check-Out Time: 3pm on Sunday Oct 30, with optional activities afterward if you want to stick around & enjoy it a bit longer!

We'll be staying in a very large cabin at a retreat center in Lake Allatoona, GA.

You'll receive address & other details upon registration.

Cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator & stove, large dining area, living room, bathroom with a shower, back porch, BBQ, fire pit & more.

Guests will share bedrooms, where there are comfortable bunkbeds & storage space for your belongings. There are 2 sleeper sofas available as well.

Parking is available at no extra charge.

All meals & drinks are covered by your registration fee, and are carefully planned by our team coordinators!

Breakfast will offer items like eggs, cereal, muffins and more. Lunch & Dinners will include halal BBQ, Kebab Rolls, Pasta & more.

You are also welcome to bring any snacks for yourself; just make sure they are packed & sealed well, and non-perishable.

It's for ladies only, age 14-100!

Ladies 18 or under must be accompanied by mother or appointed guardian.

The registration fee is $175 per person, and this covers 3 days/2 nights of lodging, food & activities, as well as a Welcome Pack.

We only have room for 32 sisters total, so please register early! After we reach our capacity, registration will close.

PLEASE PACK LIGHT - It's only a weekend trip! And we are expecting a good turn-out, so please note that space is limited. Check the weather forecast for the region so you can plan accordingly.

Must-Haves:

Clothing for the lake & woods, appropriate for Georgia fall weather: Jacket, sneakers or hiking boots, good socks, pajamas, warm clothing that will suit you in all different activities! Bring enough for 3 days, and maybe a few extra items "just in case". Lightweight prayer mat.

Phone & Charger, labeled with your name!

Toiletries: Bath soap, shampoo & conditioner, toothpaste & brush, deodorant, lotion, lip balm, sanitary pads, nail clipper, wet wipes, bug repellant, towels.

REMEMBER to bring any medication you may need!

Recommended: Hat, sunglasses, reusable water bottle, cheap flip flops or thin slippers for indoors. Quran & any other books of dua & dhikr you like. Small games that are easy to pack, like cards or dominoes! If you love to draw or write, bring a few supplies in case inspiration comes to you!
