Ustadha Sofia Sharif completed her Undergraduate Studies in the field of Sociology, Criminology, and Criminal Justice in the United Kingdom. Upon the completion of her BA she went on to study the Islamic sciences under the guidance of Dr. Shaykh Muhammad bin Yahya al-Ninowy who is the founder of Madina Institute. Pursuing her intention to serve the Muslim community, she completed her MA in Pastoral Care & Chaplaincy.

Ustadha Sofia is the director of Ruh by Madina, an initiative dedicated to serve the spiritual, social, and mental health of women across the globe. Her goal is to create a safe space where women of all ages and backgrounds can grow and heal.
